Yo,
Hello everybody,i'm setting up policyd v2 for the first time and i'm having a lot of trouble figuring out the way it works. For instance, i am using the three policies that came with it "default outbound", "default inbound" and "default internal". now i have configured the access control to reply FILTER dksign to make outbound mail get signed by my dkimproxy, but when i sent out mail, it just never matches.[2008/08/15-18:52:20 - 3507] [POLICIES] DEBUG: Found policy member with ID '2' in policy 'Default Outbound' [2008/08/15-18:52:20 - 3507] [POLICIES] DEBUG: Found policy member with ID '3' in policy 'Default Inbound' [2008/08/15-18:52:20 - 3507] [POLICIES] DEBUG: Found policy member with ID '4' in policy 'Default Internal' [2008/08/15-18:52:20 - 3507] [POLICIES] DEBUG: Resolved sources '1.2.3.4/32' from policy member ID '2' [2008/08/15-18:52:20 - 3507] [POLICIES] DEBUG: Resolved sources '1.2.3.4/32,@mydomain.com,@mail.mydomain.com' from policy member ID '2' [2008/08/15-18:52:20 - 3507] [POLICIES] DEBUG: Resolved policy 'Default Outbound' source '1.2.3.4/32' is an IP/CIDR specification, match = 0 [2008/08/15-18:52:20 - 3507] [POLICIES] DEBUG: Resolved sources '1.2.3.4/32' from policy member ID '3' [2008/08/15-18:52:20 - 3507] [POLICIES] DEBUG: Resolved sources '1.2.3.4/32,@mydomain.com,@mail.mydomain.com' from policy member ID '3' [2008/08/15-18:52:20 - 3507] [POLICIES] DEBUG: Resolved policy 'Default Inbound' source '1.2.3.4/32' is an IP/CIDR specification, match = 0 [2008/08/15-18:52:20 - 3507] [POLICIES] DEBUG: Resolved sources '1.2.3.4/32' from policy member ID '4' [2008/08/15-18:52:20 - 3507] [POLICIES] DEBUG: Resolved sources '1.2.3.4/32,@mydomain.com,@mail.mydomain.com' from policy member ID '4' [2008/08/15-18:52:20 - 3507] [POLICIES] DEBUG: Resolved policy 'Default Internal' source '1.2.3.4/32' is an IP/CIDR specification, match = 0i put my mailserver ip into "internal_ips" and those potential sender domains mydomain.com and mail.mydomain.com into "internal_domains", yet it doesn't match. what am i doing wrong and more important: where can i find docs about how to configure the policies?regards, johannes p.s.: i'm using cluebringer 2.0.2
As discussed.... Policies comprise of components. A group can be a component. Group items are OR'd. Policy components are AND'd.Negated groups used as a policy component will add negation to all group items.
Hopefully thats not too confusing ;) -N
