I have installed the database and the web interface of Policyd2 just to check out what is configurable and not, and what v2 can do for us.
I must see I like very much where what I see, but even though v2 obviously is much more flexible in the configuration, there is afaics a feature missing compared to Policyd 1. Isn't it possible to whitelist mail (or to avoid greylisting) SMTP clients based on their reverse dns name as with the WHITELISTDNSNAME? As stated in the policyd.conf from 1.8: " # ...this type of # whitelisting gives far greater power when it comes to # whitelisting ISPs or big companies which you know do not # house spammers." I must say I agree with that :) As of now this is a feature is an argument to stay with version 1 for me :) Arvinn _______________________________________________ Users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.policyd.org/mailman/listinfo/users
