Hi Juergen, Well, i've just sent a message to the dev list to open a github addon project for this driver :)
My Equallogic iSCSI driver uses EqlCliExec utility to perform SAN operations (really cool to see clone images almost instantly, like using the Eql GUI) so it needs CLI access capabilities enabled for the user. Mounting the images for use at the host level, i'm using open-iscsi client. Testing ehcmcli i've found a marginal performance increase and some stability issues (your milleage may vary), so i've dropped the Equallogic client for the open-iscsi iscsiadm client. But i'ts very easy to change the driver in order to use the Equallogic client.
