the MPI_File_set_view.3 manual from Open MPI 2.1.0 tells me:
To obtain the default value (or "native"), pass NULL.
Though, that results in SIGSEGV:

Note, that the MPI 3.1 document does not mention NULL as a valid value
for datarep
in 13.5 at all.
