Dear Gilles, It seems that using GDB with MPI is a bit tricky. I read the FAQ about that.

It seems that it doesn't support "info proc mapping" command I will try your suggestion by modifying the code. Meanwhile do you have any comment about that post (the link above)? Regards, Mahmood
