MPE is not part of OMPI. You can download MPE from http://www.mcs.anl.gov/perfvis (the latest is the beta at ftp://ftp.mcs.anl.gov/pub/mpi/mpe/beta/mpe2-1.0.7rc3.tar.gz) Then follow the INSTALL and install MPE for OMPI.
