They should be able to tell you what the correct config ought to be for what you're trying to do if you explain what you're trying to do concisely. The gotcha is, if that still doesn't work, almost invariably they will ask you to build GRUB from current (upstream) git and see if it works there before they will consider it a bug. But I'd say off hand there's a decent chance that their generic recommendation should work with Fedora's GRUB. But video stuff is kind hard in that early boot environment.
