I was going to copy some images from my HD to a CD for a friend a mine, when suddenly I realized that some old CD's are not read, that if I burn a CD (aldo a CD-RW) after burning it, it is not mounted in Nautilus (same tests on two different machines). i am really surprised and worried about my backups... Fedora is fully updated
