Forgot to mention that there is one other option: Google Chromecast. My
son lent me his recently and it worked well from Chrome on Fedora (with
the appropriate add-on). And it's relatively cheap. However AFAIK it
uses a proprietary protocol not compatible with Miracast, so the dongle
is necessary.
