Perhaps because the GNOME folks are not exactly fans of the firewall at all, 
and perhaps because GNOME Desktop aka Workstation is flagship desktop on Fedora 
NEXT aka Fedora 21, so why would they advertise something for them not welcome.

Yeah I know it sounds ridiculous, however c'est la vie, we are fighting against 
ignorance windmills.
