My sound has abruptly stopped working several times in the past, and at some point somebody on here suggested I try running the command "alsactl init", which fixed the issue both presently and for each subsequent sound breakage. However, this time it isn't working. I've confirmed that none of the sliders are at 0 in `alsamixer`.
Anyone have ideas about what I could do to fix the problem?
