as Jon Ingason replied, you may have a cut off of a command line.

to see full command lines, run top with;

  ]$ top  -c

if you would take time to read "man top" to see just what "top"
does, you will also find;

1. COMMAND-LINE Options
<snip>
   -c : Command line/Program name toggle
        Starts top with the last remembered 'c' state reversed.
        Thus, if top was displaying command lines, now that field
        will show program names, and visa versa.  See the 'c'
        interactive command for  additional information.
