To make the mount point, it's just like making any other directory (mkdir /media/music in my case). Finding the other partition isn't a big deal. To find the correct Windows partition (as root) use fdisk -l (that's a lowercase L) which will print out all partitions you have on that system. (Again, yours might be different.) So, as root I 'mount /dev/sda3 /media/music' and open up Amarok. Now, when I first set this up, I had to point Amarok to the right file location since I mounted the Windows partition directly (which I use for things other than music), but I don't see any reason why you just couldn't symlink the Music directory in the Windows partition to the Music directory in your home folder. (Then again, I don't know, it's not something I've ever done.) I did just confirm that RhythmBox works with my mounted partition, but YMMV. And, forgive the Fisher-Price version of the instructions.
