I have a desktop system with both wired and wireless adapters on the motherboard.
I keep the Wireless set to off. A network icon shows as an Airplane in the upper right of Gnome. I can turn off Airplane mode, and the icon goes away until the next boot. How can I make the Airplane mode icon stay off through reboots, yet keep the network adapter off?
