No matter that they are different versions??? I thought that EPEL would package the same version of 389DS for both systems CentOS 5 and 6 for compatibility reasons, but that 's not what they have in their repositories.
The thing is ... If I have 3 server with CentOS 5 and 389DS 1.2.1 replicating and working ... then I migrate one of those servers to CentOS 6 and 389DS version 1.2.2 (or the version EPEL decides to package). Will they work fine together? Does EPEL consider that kind of things? I think they are very important ... suppose that version 1.2.2 does not work fine with 1.2.1. What would you do in such scenario?
