Using Fedora 19
I have a number of .txt tiles created in gedit mainly reminders and dev tips and tricks, and coding filea in .erb and .html.erb in rails and some .php in Drupal sites for which I use Geany.

I've set file manager to automatically open the erb, php with geany and gedit to open .txt files but if I open a .txt from filemanager it always defaults to Geany and .erb files open either in gedit or geany. Is there any way I can set gedit default to reject .php .erb, etc. Same for Geany, default to reject .txt files.

Thanks in advance
Roger
