There apprently is a backup service in Fedora, which can automatically copy

The file is greyed out, and I can't select it. How do I solve this or should I
go for some other tool for this?

Checking the permissions, only root can read or write that file. Unless you're running the backup as root (Something I don't recommend.) you're not going to be able to include it.
