I've been trying KVM using CentOS-6.4 and xfce. Virt-manager brings up Centos ok but any configuration seems to be lost, at least it was this morning. The xfce display came up as the default, Thunderbird e-mail configuration had to be redone, etc.

Can I save the config. and if so what do I do to ensure it's there on next boot?

Apparently this is not a problem. I must have neglected to close the app. properly before shutting down. It came up as I had configured it this morning after a restart ... It even mounts my NFS.
