you are aware that Fedora 15 / 16 are dead aka EOL?

pretty sure not a problem with the driver, i have the same
network cards in some HP 8200 Elite Power which worked fine
with F15 over a long time

at least update to Fedora 17 or use CentOS if you are
not willing to upgrade your systems regulary
