Well, that was a shot in the dark. 

Looking back at the logs, the access point does seem to be detected...

Feb  7 14:58:06 laptop NetworkManager[655]: <info> Activation (wlan0) starting 
connection 'SLAVIC_WIRELESS'

Looking above, you have 2 wireless interfaces.  Are they the same hardware 
type?  Have you tried connecting via wlan1 instead of wlan0?

Are there any logs on the access point that you could look at?
