In Xfce, under Desktop Settings, there's a tab for Icons where you can adjust their size up or down in one point increments. I don't know where to look under Gnome, but if there's a control panel that looks similar, check it out. If not, check wherever it is you set your wallpaper and so on.
Thanks Joe! But I've already checked those places.....they were the first places I checked.....I wonder if there's some sort of "add on" that can be installed for Gnome that would allow this?.....
