   Yes, thank you, that's what I must have seen but could not recall.

   The add-ons are not causing the problem, no surprise though since my
   daughters OSX system got the same error message when she tried the
   Newegg site.

I just accessed the Newegg site from PCLOS 32-bit without any trouble.
Using Firefox 16.0.1. Don't know if this is any help. . . .
