I use the mic mostly for skype.
My audio device is
00:02.6 Modem: Silicon Integrated Systems [SiS] AC'97 Modem Controller
(rev a0)
00:02.7 Multimedia audio controller: Silicon Integrated Systems [SiS]
C-Media AC'97 Sound Controller (rev a0)
Skype can only use PulseAudioServer for Mix, speakers and ringing. It's
drop down menu for
all of these 3 options contains only PulseAudioServer.
I have tried skype test call and it records nothing from the mic.
pavucontrol mixer shows that mic1 and mic2 are set at 60% volume.
It does not work even when I raise the volume to 100%.
Any tool I can use to test/fix this?
