Yes, what else did you expect? ;-)

I had some discussion with Gigabyte-folks before, on the same topic,
and although I could explain the problem a little bit more in detail,
they told me the same. Linux is NOT supported (baaah!).

To all the people who are now tempted to write "choose another
vendor": Gigabyte produces overall great motherboars regarded to Linux
compatibility (although they are most certainly unware of that fact),
and the C1E problem is not a real serious one (no, I dont get paid of
Gigabye).
