Ever since the last two kernels on Fedora 16 my gam_server goes to disk sleep. When that happens I can't use dolphin or any kde file dialogs. This doesn't happen with the 3.3 kernel. Also, when this happens I cannot su to root or reboot cleanly. The system gets stuck near the end of the shut off process. I looked through the archives, but there's nothing there about gam_server for the past 4 years. What might be going on? selinux?
