Sorry, I didn't have enough information from your first post to do much but guess... A followup question: Are you only having problems with NFS? If so, it may be a firewall issue. My existing setup from F15 didn't work in F17. I had to open 2049 (which system-config-firewall has a preset for) as well as 111 for portmapper and 20048 for mountd. The last one was a real problem because there doesn't seem to be much information on it.
