If you don't have a public IPv6 address, then you won't try IPv6, so it
won't cause any delay.

It seems to use IPv6 instead of the fastest link table, which is how I noticed this, my standard IPv4 link is 10Mbit, my IPv6 test link is only 768k. However, now that I understand it, I will either stop IPv6 before upgrade, or live with it.
