Just wasted an entire morning figuring why named was having a bad hair day; with nary a clue as to what the problem is.

To save everyone else from wasting time as well, the PrivateTmp directive in named-chroot.service conveniently unmounts all the loopback-mounts that get installed by /usr/libexec/setup-named-chroot.sh

What a brilliant idea.
