The flash drive works in another F16 computer so it appears to be
good. I want to just boot and install from the USB spin!
Does anyone have experience with this board?

Curiously an Scientific Linux 6.2 live USB stick did work and
installed, not exactly what I wanted but it points up some
problem with the F-17/64 XFCE Spin.
I will deal with that later, in the mean time I have a good
working system on the new computer.
