Hi Heinz, Thanks for the suggestion, I missed it. I didn't try that, the only thing I changed in the BIOS is to not enable nvidia optimus. When you saw this, did it reboot after finish booting (i.e. get to KDM / GDM ) or was it just at the grub menu ? Thanks.
