you really need a graphical UI for opening
"/boot/grub2/grub.cfg" and simply change
the line set default="0" tp 1,2,3.....?

why?

and yes you can ignore the "# DO NOT EDIT THIS FILE"
as long you do not call "grub2-mkconfig" which is not
needed usually
