Fedora 17 will ship the 3.3 Linux kernel. The only major change for ext4 in 3.3 I've heard about is improved online resizing support: http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=news_item&px=MTA0MDg In the 3.2 kernel shipped as an update to Fedora 16, ext4 gained support for larger block sizes: http://kernelnewbies.org/Linux_3.2#head-6587eeb43f3afa2b24306c24b679cfe77f6da357 Other than that, I can find no other major changes in ext4 since F16 dropped.
