I wonder if there is a way to make a wifi adapter connect to an access point but based on its mac address instead of SSID?.
The situation I have is that there´s two APs with the same SSID but diferent signal strengts, both open, no encryption, and using different back end providers. I do not control the APs, I just want to connect to the farther one, which I receive with 30% signal quality, instead of the closer one, with 90% signal. I run F16 and the adapter is a USB cantenna.
