Against what? The report so far is "sound no workie".

It might help if you followed the steps in the Fedora pulseaudio
problem reporting guide:

So far I don't think there's even enough information to suggest that
this is a pulseaudio problem.

If the devices have vanished it sounds more like a problem with the
alsa drivers. There are also plenty of resources for investigating
alsa problems if you search google.
