Check ebay for Continuous Ink Systems (CIS) made in China. Then you can buy ink in bulk (bottles) and refill automagically to your heart´s content. Plus, these old printers included very simple (erasable) control chips. In fact, my old QMS color laser can be refilled by just drilling a hole into the original cartridges and using a funnel, then duct taping the opening when done.
