I don't know about more useful, but there is 50ns-mail.ldif (deprecated) and 60inetmail.ldif - is perhaps LDAP Schema for Intranet Mail Routing schema and updated version of the schema from 60inetmail.ldif? Please feel free to open a bug/RFE and attach the schema file you're using for inclusion in 389.
