Some things plymouth provides are good (like finally a boot.log
file), but the graphics are silly and just prevent you from
seeing what happened if your new kernel freezes on you during
boot. I simply edit out the "rhgb" parameter from the kernel
boot lines in /boot/grub/grub.conf.
