So that is the syntax.
I hadn't seen a place to put the ports and assumed that they were standard.

Alas still no go.
Now it asks me for a password, but it won't take it.
The error box says
Unable to authenticate to IMAP server.
IMAP command failed: Could not connect to server

Please enter ...

I dont' get connection timed out anymore.
