I have never, knowingly, installed it on this laptop. I did, however, make sure that Networking Support was installed when I first installed Fedora 13. Although I have used dial-up support under Linux, by the time I got this box I no longer had an account with ppp access, so I've never had a reason before to check for it. How it came in I don't know, and I'm not interested in experimenting to find out if I can remove it without removing anything else.
