I don't know the specific details, but one of the scripts embedded in the rpm is failing. The installation will proceed if you use "--noscripts", but you will have to check manually what the scripts are trying to do and do the same operations manually (including fixing the operations which are failing). I would start with rpm -q --scripts -p oracle-xe-univ-10.2.0.1-1.0.i386.rpm and having a look at the pre and post scripts.
