I have some problem with skype and the microphone: My laptop: Dell latitute E6400 Result of ]$ head -n 1 /proc/asound/card0/codec* Codec: IDT 92HD71B7X External microphone is working if I use audacity for instance but not if I try to configure skype with skype audio test.
