For the answer to this question, look at your /var/log/Xorg.0.log file, and follow the messages of the nouveau driver as it initializes itself and determines modes and resolutions. Its very informative. If it is excluding the resolutions you want, you'll at least know *why* it is doing that. > Thanks ! -- Kevin J.
