I've checked that switch and it's definitely in the 'on' position - it's
a dual-boot with WinXP on the other partition and if I boot into XP the
wireless works fine - it's a real puzzler. Googling has only come up
with solutions based on what I've already done...

Does anyone know what I should be looking for in the logs?
