I'm having a problem with mplayer in F14 x86_64. mplayer doesn't allow the use of the 3 and 4 keys to adjust brightness during playback in X with nouveau, though it works in the console.
When I used it in F12 with the nv driver, it worked just fine in X. Would this be a problem in mplayer or nouveau? Or ??? Wondering if anyone knows how to fix this or what I should report this as a bug against.
