All above came from stick I made 5 years ago.

You may be able to do same with Fedora. I've never tried, and don't remember the
details of making mine. If you can't make one from a Fedora .iso with more than
one partition, you could carry two sticks, one to boot and run, another to 
provide
utilities absent on what you booted.
