Hi, I am getting ready to install Fedora 44 (no Windows needed), and I was wondering what BIOS options I should change. I would like to have the machine set up with the ability to hibernate (which I do at least a couple of times a day).
In terms of security, I see that there are toggle buttons for TPM 2.0 Security, Key Storage Enabled, Absolute (R), UEFI Boot Path Security (Always Except Internal HDD), Firmware Device Tamper Detection (Silent), and Pluton Security Processor services enabled. Which of these options will create complications with the installation of Fedora? The Absolute Persistence can only be disabled in a one-way operation. Oh, there is a Legacy Manageability Interface Access option that is enabled but grayed out. Many thanks in advance for any suggestions, and best wishes, Ranjan -- _______________________________________________ users mailing list -- [email protected] To unsubscribe send an email to [email protected] Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/[email protected] Do not reply to spam, report it: https://forge.fedoraproject.org/infra/tickets/issues/new
