Fedora 43? The latest I've installed is a server spin of Fedora 42, and I'm certain that let me choose how I wanted things partitioned and formatted. I certainly didn't want the default LVM schemes that have been used over the recent years. And that I decided to give XFS a try. It's actually used as a workstation, with very few local files on it, so the risk is minimal. I did a server install because I have trouble getting other spins to boot -- uname -rsvp Linux 3.10.0-1160.119.1.el7.x86_64 #1 SMP Tue Jun 4 14:43:51 UTC 2024 x86_64 (yes, this is the output from uname for this PC when I posted) Boilerplate: All unexpected mail to my mailbox is automatically deleted.
