Hi, I am looking forward to wiping out whatever this latop came with, and installing Fedora. Looking into the BIOS, it appears that there is a SecureBoot Mode which has Deployed Mode and Audit Mode. I guess I go for the audit mode. (It is my understanding that disabling SecureBoot boot is recommended, perhaps needed, if I want hibernate to work.)
But why does this option even show up: earlier, there is a "Enable Secure Boot" which is at Off? Is it simply an ifelse parenthesis incorrectly placed in the BIOS code? Does anyone have experience installing Fedora on this laptop? Any suggestions on what I should look out for. Many thanks and best wishes, Ranjan -- _______________________________________________ users mailing list -- [email protected] To unsubscribe send an email to [email protected] Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/[email protected] Do not reply to spam, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/new_issue
