It seems to be a conflict between fc43 and rpmfusion-free repos.
While fc43 has version 7.1.2-2, rpmfusion-free has newer 7.1.2-7.
That inhibits installation of crucial packages for VLC. Hopefully fc43
will catch up soon.
I had other video players not working properly (dragon), but that was
solved by eliminating fc43 packages.
