If you aren't already doing so, try using a wired keyboard. Connect the keyboard *directly* into one of the USB ports on the motherboard back panel rather than a case header on the front/top. (See section 2-6 in the motherboard manual https://download.gigabyte.com/FileList/Manual/mb_manual_b650-gx-v2_1202_e.pdf?v=aa6a402bad181b9afe4e429f4302f979) I would start with the (a) ports, then try the (f) or (j) ports failing that.
